The nature of the business is in propagation of limited generation high-grade seed potato varieties and packing crops under an organic regime.

Organic Potato Grower's Polytunnel Facilities

Stem cuttings derived from in vitro microplants are raised in specially adapted polytunnels.

Microplants are field transplanted into raised beds in May following 4-6 weeks in modular containers in the tunnels.   These generation 1 stocks are grown to maturity and the first tuber crop will be harvested in August / September.  Re-usable polyprop covers offer protection from pests and fungal pathogens.
